Keyboard Shortcuts and useful Commands for Windows

Using Keyboard shortcuts makes you easier and faster when navigating the file structures and executing specific commands on your computer. Not all of us are aware of how to quickly perform the tasks that we manually do on computer using shortcuts keys.

Keyboard shortcuts can be really helpful if your daily job relies heavily on the same repetitive task. Below you will find a list of keyboard shortcuts for Windows which you may find it most helpful to access and run certain tasks.

Window + E [ Opens File explorer ]

Ctrl + N [ When you press from a folder directory it opens the same directory on a new window ]

Window + R [ It opens Run command]

Window + tab [ Shows all the open Windows ]

Ctrl + Shift + N [ Press altogether to create a new folder ]

Window + I [ Opens Windows settings ]

Win+1, 2, 3, 4, 5, etc [ This will open those program you have in your taskbar one after the other.]

F2 [ Click on the file or folder and hit F2 to instantly rename it. ]

Ctrl + Shift + Esc [ This shortcut will open the Task Manager window. ]
