Search Programs does not display search results on Windows 7

Let me show a step by steps on how I have fixed this problem of Windows 7 Search bar from not showing any result when typing a Program name on the Search bar. Well, it is pretty easy and very simple to fix this.  And, if
you have followed the steps correctly you should be able to fix it. You will need to modify the Registry. So, if you modify incorrectly you might occur a serious problem. Make sure you do the steps carefully.

We have to use Keyboard Shortcuts, since the search bar isn't working.

Press the WINDOWS LOGO KEY + R on your keyboard. This will open up RUN Window

In the Run box, type regedit and then press ENTER on the Keyboard. *You must have an Administrator account to perform this steps successfully.

Locate the following registry subkey:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FolderTypes\{ef87b4cb-f2ce-4785-8658-4ca6c63e38c6}   Right-click this Subkey, and then select Delete.

Now, You may need to Restart your computer.
